Sporty Group is a remote-first company with a globally distributed workforce of more than 700 people, operating in over 10 countries across three continents. Founded in 2013, it builds everyday entertainment platforms for sports fans in emerging markets, spanning digital and linear sports broadcasting, fintech, entertainment, gaming and sports betting. Its engineering work covers consumer internet platforms, digital and linear broadcasting, fintech, gaming and betting technology, mobile app development and media and content production.

The group's products include SportyTV, Africa's leading free-to-air sports broadcaster, which holds rights to the Premier League, LaLiga, Bundesliga and the Olympic Games; SportyBet, a sports betting platform; Sporty.com, a sports app; Sporty Studios, its creative content hub; and football.com. These properties serve millions of daily users.

The technology platform was built from scratch three years ago, leaving the team to work with modern architecture and without legacy constraints.
