TakeIn runs a food delivery app in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Province that lists local restaurants at their own prices with no extra fees, real-time order tracking and payment options.
TakeIn is a food delivery platform headquartered in Khobar, Saudi Arabia, and operating in the country's Eastern Province. Founded in 2025, with operations launched in January of that year, the company employs between 51 and 200 people. Its single product, the TakeIn App, is described as Saudi Arabia's first transparent food delivery app: it lists local restaurants at their own prices, adds no extra fees, and offers real-time order tracking, straightforward payment options, local deals and TakeIn exclusives.
The platform's technology work spans mobile app development, real-time order tracking, payment processing and the underlying delivery marketplace. Engineering therefore touches several concurrent systems: consumer ordering, live logistics data, and transaction handling across a partner network of restaurants and delivery providers. The company positions itself as building a connected ecosystem linking restaurants, delivery partners and customers.
TakeIn's stated model is partnership-based. It works exclusively with local and neighbourhood restaurants, excluding national chains and junk food outlets, with an explicit mission to support local food businesses and authentic culinary experiences. The company says it is built for fairness and transparency, a claim reflected in its pricing approach - restaurant prices passed through unchanged, with no added delivery fees.
Headquartered in Khobar, TakeIn's operations are concentrated in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. Funding details are not disclosed.
